Layout of Tour 

Day 1: Upon arrival in Rio, you will be met and transferred to your apartment in the neighborhood of Ipanema. Ipanema has been and still is today one of the best neighborhoods to stay in Rio. It’s array of restaurants, high class shopping, beautiful beach and proximity to the Lagoon, makes Ipanema be chosen by residents and tourists as one of Rio’s top places to hang out in.

This afternoon is at leisure to rest or to do some exploring on your own.

We have an on-call staff available for spa / health treatments if desired.

Day 2: This day is a free day to explore your surroundings, the neighborhood of Ipanema, and all of the interesting venues and neighboring areas. A walk at the beach, where one can admire the view of the Two Brothers Mountain and just a 15 minute walk down to Arpoador Beach, one can see Copacabana Beach and the whole coastline from the rocks. The Lagoon is also a splendorous landscape to feast on. The waters of the Lagoon surrounded by the Tijuca National Forest and all the mountainside of the Atlantic Forest. The only neighorhood in Rio city without a slum, it’s the highest property market of Rio, 10 minute walk from your accomodations.

Lunch will be at a Churrascaria, a traditional Brazilian Barbecue Feast. This experience is for sure a one of a kind and you will be delighted with Brazilian cuisine.

At night, you will be escorted by our local guides to a choice of essential Rio night happenings.

Day 3: Begin the day exploring the ocean with a boat cruise to the Cargarras Arquipelagos. A group of four islands just five kilometers from the Ipanema coastline. These islands are visited by turtles, dolphins and even whales, and have been established as a National Reserve.

After returning from this tour, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

At night our local guides will escort you and guide you to amazing cultural events, where you can experience the best of Rio’s night life in Lapa neighborhood. Lapa is an old historic district where night life literally booms until 4:00- 5:00 in the morning with an infinite array of cultural events.

Day 4: Today you are free to enjoy the day and explore the city at your own pace. Our local guides can make arrangements for any additional activities you wish to partake in. Enjoy a late lunch with a Bahian gourmet cook. Vitoria Bahia, will prepare an exquisite meal of Bahian typical cooking.

Day 5: Join the crew on a visit to a suburban beach of Prainha. Spend the day one hour from busy Rio, still within city limits, at a lush eco beach where the restaurants serve seafood freshly caught daily. Sit back and chill for a day of fresh air, exquisite nature and enjoy lunch at one of the local quality restaurants.

Day 6: Begin this busy day, visiting the Christ Statue at Corcovado Mountain, arriving by cog train through the lush Atlantic rainforest. From the top of the city, indulge your eyes and understand why Rio de Janeiro is called “the Wonderful City”. The view of the city nestled within the Tijuca Forest is breathtaking and a postcard invitation from any of its 360 angles. After that spectacular view, we go to Urca neighborhood for a ride in the cable cars up to Sugar Loaf mountain. Probably the most recognizable natural attraction of Rio, Sugar Loaf gives you yet another extraordinary view of the city nestled between the mountains and the sea. The rest of the day is free for rest, party or your best intentions.

Day 7, 8, 9: Your journey to the vacation town of Buzios, about four hours from Rio city begins. Apart from its 23 beaches of exceptional beauty, Armação dos Buzios offers many leisure activities. Boat trips, cinema, theater, national and international cuisine, a craft market at Santos Dumont Square, the excitement of Rua das Pedras. Spend these days at leisure enjoying the sun, ocean, and beautiful beaches.
